The National Assembly in a closed-door meeting approved the request of the Public Prosecutor to lift immunity from two MPs, it was announced here on Tuesday.
It was necessary to hold a closed-door meeting because of the sensitivity of the request by the Prosecutor since it had to do with the nation's foreign policy, said National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim, following the conclusion of the closed-door meeting.
The two MPs in question are Abdulhameed Dashti and Nabil Al-Fadhel
