Matrouh security chief al-Anani Hamouda

Security forces foiled Tuesday an attempt by 136 people, including 9 Sudanese nationals, to sneak into Libya.

Matrouh security chief al Anani Hamouda said the 136 would-be infiltrators were arrested in preparation for investigation by the prosecution.

Meanwhile, Hamouda was reported about a suspicious item on Matrouh-Siwa road. Sending a bomb-disposal team, it turned out that the cylindrical metal item was left over by wars.
