Tunis - KUNA
Ras Ajdir border crossing between Tunisia and Libya has witnessed an influx of Libyan nationals fleeing from violence in their country, said a statement by the Tunisian customs service late Saturday.
According to Tunisian radio, the customs service said that most of the refugees came from areas near the border with Tunisia, adding that those Libyans were fleeing clashes between armed groups in their country.
The customs service affirmed that the situation was under control and the flow of refugees was not affecting procedures at the Ras Ajdir crossing.
