Some of the inhabitants of the Lebanese Arsal city abducted 23 Syrians in response to the kidnapping of a Lebanese citizen by Syrians suspected of belonging to the Daesh terrorist group.
A local official in Arsal told MENA Wednesday the city witnessed gunfire and tension between locals and Syrian gunmen.
The Syrian gunmen kidnapped Hussein Seifeddine and tried to involve a Lebanese family from Arsal in the matter.
The family responded by abducting 28 Syrians and freed five of them. It keeps the rest of the kidnapped till the Syrian gunmen free the Lebanese citizen.
