Arab and Islamic groups are holding intensive talks to coordinate stances concerning issues raised during the United Nations General Assembly meeting.

The Arab group is scheduled to hold a meeting at the foreign ministers' level on Sunday. Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will take part in the gathering.

On Wednesday, an Arab-Latin America ministerial meeting will be held to review means of fostering bilateral ties.

Liaison groups of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) of several countries, including Somalia, Mali and Yemen, will hold ministerial meetings.

The OIC coordination meeting of foreign ministers will be held on Thursday.
