Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar gave directives to his ministry's services sector to participate in relief operations for citizens affected by the floods to alleviate their suffering.

The services sector sent medical convoys to offer medical services to people affected by the floods in Sohag and Red Sea governorates.

"Aman" outlets provided foodstuffs for the citizens.

Abdel Ghaffar assigned the security leaders to follow up conditions in these governorates and form around-the-clock work teams to coordinate with the bodies concerned to take part in relief operations.
