Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese received Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar along with senior police leaderships at Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese in Abbasiya. 

During the meeting, the delegation greeted Pope Tawadros on the occasion of Easter. 

The pope thanked the delegation for efforts exerted by the policemen to secure the churches throughout Egypt during the celebrations. 

He hailed the sacrifices made by the martyrs of the nation, saying they will never be forgotten.
