Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar hailed the national role of the Egyptian Church, which embodies the citizenship spirit among the Egyptian people and spreads tolerance. 

Abdel Ghaffar made the remark during the visit paid Sunday to St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral 

in Abbasiya to extend greetings to Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark 

Diocese on the Easter.
