Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar arrived at Sharm el Sheikh airport on Thursday to check on the security measures for the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) that will kick off tomorrow.
The minister reviewed the conference security plan and inspected the forces deployed at different parts of the resort town.
The Interior Ministry has announced that it will tighten its security measures nationwide during the conference.
Meanwhile, world leaders, heads of state, and businessmen have been arriving in Egypt to take part in the three-day conference.
