Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim made a surprise tour of Cairo International Airport on Sunday.
He inspected departure and arrival halls to stand on security preparations at the airport and the security checkpoints on the roads leading to it.
The minister, meanwhile, hailed the security measures taken at the airport and underlined the need to beef up security to prevent any sabotage act to this vital facility.
