Minister of Interior Magdy Abdel Ghaffar sent a cable of thanks to police commanders, officers and conscripts who exerted their utmost efforts to secure the country's celebrations of inaugurating the new Suez Canal.

In his cable, the minister appreciated the honest efforts and punctuality of the police troops all over the country which has been overwhelmed by joy and cheerfulness over the new waterway inauguration.

He also appreciated their responsibility towards their national duties, voicing hope over continuing their missions at such important phase in Egypt's history.
