Minister of Interior Magdy Abdel Ghaffar met Tuesday with members of the social solidarity committee at the House of Representatives and representatives of another seven committees who offered condolences to the minister on the death of eight policemen in the Cairo suburb of Helwan a few days ago.

The minister said the ministry will continue efforts to protect the homeland within the framework of the respect of law, constitution, rights and freedoms.

Minister Abdel Ghaffar said history will remain remembering the sacrifices of policemen and their efforts to protect the homeland and confront crimes.
