Egypt's Interior Ministry on Saturday denies media reports on arresting any involved persons in the Russian plane crash case.

An official source at the ministry said that all reports in this regard are false.

No one has been arrested in connection with the crash, the source added.

Media reports claimed that an EgyptAir employee is suspected of planting a bomb on a Russian passenger plane in late October.

The plane was crashed in Sinai after takeoff from Sharm el Sheikh airport, killing all 224 people on board.
