An official of the media center of the Interior Ministry denied the rumors on the death of one of the injured in the shooting by a non-commissioned officer after a quarrel with a vendor in front of Rehab city in New Cairo.

The official said that the news is totally void of truth.

Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar gave directions to treat the injured at the expense of the ministry.

A quarrel took place in front of Rehab city in New Cairo where a non-commissioned officer fired at vendor killing him and injuring two pedestrians, the official said. 

The injured were taken to hospital for treatment and the non-commissioned officer was arrested, the official said.
