A fire that broke out late Wednesday in a car in the backyard of the High Court Building (Dar al-Qadaa al-'Ali) in downtown Cairo was contained, with no casualties reported, the Interior Ministry said.

In a statement on Thursday, an official from the ministry's security media center said that the fire erupted as a result of a short circuit in the car causing the car engine to catch fire.
