The Interior Ministry launched a number of security crackdowns in a number of governorates to arrest outlaws, drug dealers and fugitives.

Some 125 arms, including machine guns, birdshot rifles and pistols, were seized during the campaigns.

Around 51 transgressions on cultivated lands and 788 road obstructions were removed.
