The Interior Ministry on Tuesday mourned the death of an officer whose body was found in North Sinai after being killed by militants.
"Egyptian policemen will remain committed to their pledges to protect their homeland," the ministry said in a statement.
Earlier today, the army spokesman said 10 Takfiri militants were killed in areas where the officer went missing.
