The Interior Ministry's institutions sector sent an aid convoy of 5,000 blankets and 5,000 foodstuff cartons to the people affected by floods in Sohag.

This comes within the framework of the directives given by Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar pertaining to the participation of the services sector at his ministry in offering needed support for citizens in the areas hit by the floods recently.

The citizens expressed their appreciation for the role played by the police in paying attention to the social and humanitarian aspects of the Egyptians.
