The Interior Ministry has vowed to firmly face the policemen's individual violations.

In a statement on Sunday, the ministry said Egypt's security men will continue to sacrifice their souls to defend the country against the threat of terrorism without violating human rights.

The ministry said the policemen's violations are still under investigations, adding that the results of such investigations will be publicly announced.

The ministry is committed to applying the law and verdicts to everybody without discrimination, the statement added.
