International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr has convened with new Egyptian ambassadors who assume their posts abroad this year.

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry has given directives to the Foreign Ministry's Institute for Diplomatic Studies to arrange meetings with the new ambassadors.

In a statement on Tuesday, Shoukry's assistant and the institute's director Heba el Marasi said the meeting tackled coordination between the ministries of foreign affairs and international cooperation.

The talks also addressed Egypt's relations with various world countries and means of promoting the Egyptian economy abroad.
