Minister of Planning and International CooperationMohammed al-Sa'adi headed on Monday for Tunisia to participate in the annualmeeting of Arab Financial Institutions to be held soon.The meetings will discuss support mechanisms and the activities of Arab financialinstitutions that make loans and oversee the countries' grants to implementdevelopment projects, al-Sa'adi said upon his departure.He said that, during the meeting, someagreementstocarryoutdevelopmentprojects will be singed with a number of Arab funds, including Saudi and KuwaitiFunds.Later, he will take part in the "Spring Meeting", which is to be held in Washington, inaddition.Moreover, the Minister will hold meetings with officials of some Arab developmentfunds, including Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), Qatar Fund forDevelopment, Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) and the OPECFund for International Development (OFID).The meetings would address the challenges Yemen faces and the high-expensiverequirements of the next stage to implement the outcomes of the national dialogue,al-Sa'adi said.
