Iraqi Vice President Osama el-Najefi expressed on Wednesday appreciation for Egypt's support of the Iraqi state and its anti-terrorism war.
Najefi, during a meeting here with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, lauded the historic role of Egypt and its national army in supporting Arab brothers, said Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdel Aati.
Iraq is passing through a critical stage that requires from all Arab brothers a full support of the army through training and equipment, he added.
Shoukry reiterated Egypt's keenness on the integrity of Iraqi lands and on offering all possible help to Iraq o face terrorism.
