Iraqi Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi received Saturday some members of the country's Council of Representatives on Daesh crisis in two separate meetings.
During the first meeting, al Obeidi received head of the council's security and defense committee Hakem al Zamly, as they reviewed progress of the military operations aimed at uprooting terrorist groups, especially Daesh and their supporters.
The defense minister also met with some parliament members to discuss security, economic, political issues that concern the Iraqis. He expressed his ministry's readiness to tackle such issues.
