Iraqi Defense Minister Khaled al Obeaidi said the battle against the terrorist group Daesh and powers of terror in the country will be fulfilled soon.

During a meeting with officials of Iraq's top brass on Tuesday, the minister praised the morale of the Iraqi soldiers who were trained on all kinds of weapons and exercised all kinds of drills to fight the terrorist groups.

He said the Iraqi military is on the right direction to restore the glory of Iraq's army.

Iraq has been in a state of chaos since the ouster of Saddam Hussein's regime in 2003 as thousands were killed and wounded and many became homeless.
