Iraqi Defense Minister Khaled al Obeidi visited Friday Sinjar district of Nineveh, northwestern Iraq.

Obeidi met with commanders of the Kurdish Peshmerga forces to discuss coordination with the Iraqi troops in the war against Daesh.

Kurdish Peshmerga forces, supported by Yazidi fighters, recaptured Sinjar on November 13 from Daesh group.
