Baghdad - MENA
Joint Iraqi forces have cut Daesh's supply routes as a major military operation continues to liberate Iraqi provinces from the terrorist group, a security source said Friday.
The forces have controlled the roads linking Nineveh's city of Mosul and Saladin province.
The forces tightened the noose on the city of Tikrit in Saladin.
The Iraqi army's offensive began earlier this week, but the advance has been slowed by roadside bombings.
