Iraqi security forces dismantled a booby-trapped car seized in Mashtal district in southeastern Baghdad, a security source said on Tuesday.

The bomb was defused successfully without causing any damage, the source added.

Iraq has been in turmoil since the ouster of Saddam Hussein during the US invasion of the country nearly 13 years ago.
