The joint Iraqi forces killed 26 Daesh terrorists on Sunday during a military operation in Biji and Samarra in Salaheddin, while the terrorist elements blew up 62 houses in al Sharqat, northern Tikrit.
Security forces supported by Al Hashd Al Shaabi militias and Sunni clans killed 11 Daesh elements during a joint military operation, an Iraqi security source said.
Joint forces are liberating more territories in the governorate, the source added.
Meanwhile, Daesh elements blew up 62 houses in al Sharqat area in northern Tikrit after security forces announced completing military preparations to storm areas controlled by the terrorists.
