The Iraqi forces on Tuesday foiled an attack on army premises by Daesh militant group in western Tikrit, Salahuddine governorate.
Meanwhile, the Shiitee popular committee troops ( Al Hashd Al Shaabi) liberated a village in Daqouq neighborhood of Kirkuk after clashes with Daesh militants.
Local and security sources here said seven suicide bombers were killed during the counterattack on Daesh in Tikrit.
Also, Iraqi forces pushed deep into Wasit and are currently defusing the explosive charges planted by the extremist group.
