Iraqi Interior Minister Mohammed Salim al Ghaban visited Friday Hamrin city in eastern Tikrit to follow up an operation to liberate Saladin province from Daesh terrorists.
The Iraqi defense ministry said that two phases of a security plan to liberate the province from the terrorist Daesh group were over.
The third phase is underway to purge Tal Kasiba and al Alam districts from terrorism, the ministry added.
