Iraqi Interior Minister Mohammed Salem al Ghabban stressed Saturday the importance of corruption control, calling for concerted efforts to help the ministry carry out its mission.
In a press conference on Saturday, the minister said people were arrested over shots fired after Iraqi national football team beat Iran on penalties settling the classic Asian Cup encounter.
Iraqi health ministry reported 44 people injured in celebrations held following the match.
