Iraqi jets pounded on Wednesday a target of Daesh terrorist group in Hawijah district in the northern Iraqi province of Kirkuk.

A leader of the terrorist group was killed in the bombing.

Meanwhile, a bomb went off in southern Iraq and left two civilians dead.

Clashes between Iraqi forces and the militant group have been ongoing since June 2014 when the armed group seized Mosul and other territories in Iraq.
