First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament Hammam Hamoudi urged the international community on Wednesday to take a serious action against Daesh group.

During a meeting with UN special representative in Iraq Jan Kubis, Hamoudi called for drying up the sources of terrorism and preventing infiltrators from entering into Iraq.

"Iraq is taking positive steps towards stability," Kubis said, adding that the UN is eager to maintain the unity, stability and security of Iraq.
