An Iraqi lawmaker praised on Wednesday a call by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to form an Arab deterrent force to face terrorism in the region.
"President Sisi is a national leader who is characterized by moderation and keenness to provide security in the Arab region," chairman of the security and defense committee at parliament Hakem al Zamly said in statements to MENA.
He added that there is an international plot to weaken the Arab armies, especially in countries close to Israel.
Zamly slammed also the terrorist attacks against Egyptian servicemen in Sinai.
