Ambassador Stuart jones

Iraqi Minister of Planning Salman al Jameeli met on Tuesday with the US ambassador in Baghdad Stuart Jones on bilateral relations in different economic and investment fields, security and ways to develop them, as well as the review of the security and political developments in Iraq and the region.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Planning, Jameeli called during his meeting with Jones on the United States to play an important role in the reconstruction of the areas liberated from Daesh.

The two sides agreed on the need to achieve social security through launching the plan of comprehensive development projects in the liberated areas and to absorb the human resources to those areas and capacities, including efforts to achieve sustainable security in the liberated areas.

This meeting was attended by all of the Ministers of Education Mohammad Iqbal Agriculture Falah al Zaidan defense Khaled al Obeidi and electricity, Qasim Fahdawi.

The minister also met with the Saudi ambassador in Iraq Thamer el Sabhan and discussed with him bilateral relations and the possibility of promoting cooperation in all fields in the interest of the peoples of the two brotherly countries.
