Iraq's Prime Minster Haider al Abadi arrives Saturday in the city of Samarra north of Baghdad to follow up the military operation aimed at retaking Salaheddin Governorate and Tikrit city from the terrorist Daesh militants.
Upon his arrival, he held a meeting with the commanders of the security forces taking part in the battle.
The Iraqi prime minister said that his country was fighting Daesh on behalf of the rest of the world, adding that an army was being prepared and equipped for such battle.
