Iraqi PM Haider al-Abadi

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al Abadi ordered on Friday evening to sent troops as soon as possible to Ramadi city of Al Anbar Governorate to help in holding off a Daesh attack on the city.

This came during a meeting with Interior Minister Mohammed Salem al Ghabban and a number of commanders, the Interior Ministry said in a press release.

Anbar Governor Suhaib al Rawi led a protest outside the US embassy in Baghdad that urged a US-led coalition to interfere via shelling the terrorist group.
