Iraqi President Fuad Masum issued on Sunday a presidential decree to appoint Sohaib Ismail as the new Anbar governor.
Earlier, former Anbar governor Ahmed Khalf el-Dilamy was injured during clashes with Daesh group and he is still receiving medical treatment.
