Iraqi president Fuad Masum today officially assigned the candidate of the National Alliance Haidar Al-Abbadi to form the new Iraqi government.
In  a press conference, held here on Monday, Masum announced that he assigned the candidate of the Iraqi National Alliance Haidar Al-Abbadi officially to form a new government in the presence of Salim Al-Jubouri, Speaker of Iraqi parliament and Dr. Ibrahim al-Jaafari along with the National Alliance members.
