Iraqi President Fuad Masum received an official invitation from his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah El Sisi to attend the Arab summit, which takes place March 28 and 29.
The Iraqi president will make a visit to Egypt late March, during which he attends the Arab summit in Sharm El Sheikh and meets with Sisi, Egypt's Ambassador in Baghdad Ahmed Darwish told MENA correspondent.
Darwish said he handed over the summit invitation to the Iraqi presidential palace on Thursday.
