Daesh militants represent a threat to the whole region, said Ahmed al-Sherifi, an Iraqi security expert.
In an interview with "Al Ghad Al Arabi" news channel, Sherifi said that Iraq is fighting Daesh to defend the strategic depth of the Middle East.
He stressed that there is a strong desire for national lineup in Iraq to defend the country.
