A reliable source at the joint operation command in Iraq said on Tuesday that a number of Iraqi soldiers were killed and wounded in a suicide attack carried out by Daesh in Anbar province near the borders with Saudi Arabia.
The source told MENA that two car bombs targeted Brigade 75 of al-Jazira operation command in Nakhib area in Anbar, pointing out that seven Grad rockets fell on Samarra city in Salahuddin province.
Days ago, an Iraqi military base north of Baghdad was targeted by multiple suicide bombers, who killed at least 15 security troops and injured at least 22 others. The terrorist group Daesh claimed responsibility for the attack.
