Iraqi security forces evacuated on Friday 319 civilians from al Sofia city in eastern Ramadi.

Most of the evacuated were children and women.

They were held by Daesh terrorist group, a security source said.

They were taken to a safe place, where basic services are provided for them, he added.

So far, 900 Iraqis were evacuated from their homes in Ramadi since the start of an operation to liberate the city from Daesh terrorist group.
