Iraqi warplanes bombed on Monday arms depots and workshops for booby trapped cars belonging to Daesh militant group in Anbar province in western Iraq.

The shelling, which took place in Fallujah city of Anbar province, destroyed the weapons depots and Daesh sites, the Iraqi Interior Ministry said.

The ministry added that forces of Baghdad Operations Command killed 21 Daesh militants in a military operation in Karma area in northeastern Fallujah.

Also, eight Daesh militants were killed in Samarra in Salahuddin province, north of Iraq.
