About 15 Daesh militants were killed on Thursday in two airstrikes launched by Iraqi warplanes on Hit city in Anbar province.

A number of Deash leaders were among the dead, a spokesman for the joint operations said.

The strikes have also targeted a workshop used by Daesh to make explosive devices, a spokesman for the Iraqi Defense Minister said.
