The Kurdistan Region Presidency denied on Saturday news saying that the region received a financial aid from Saudi Arabia during President Masoud Barzani’s visit to Riyadh.

In a press release, the presidency said such claims are groundless.

It said that Barzani visited Saudi Arabia and UAE after invitations from the two countries in order to discuss means of fostering bilateral relations as well as discussing the war against Daesh and refugees issues.
