A commander of the terrorist group, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, allegedly responsible for rigging vehicles with explosives for attacks in Lebanon, was killed in ongoing clashes in Arsal.The Al-Manar television station said Abu Hasan al-Homsi was killed in the fighting between the Army and Takfiri militants in the Northeastern border town, The Daily Star reported.
Lebanon has been hit with a spate of car bombings in the past year, most of which have been claimed by radical groups fighting in Syria.
