Gaza City - Arab Today
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement on Friday warned Israel of consequences of attacks on Al Quds city and the Al Aqsa Mosque.
During a Gaza rally against the Israeli provocations, the movement's top leader Khaled Al Batsh said that the Palestinian resistance will not be committed to any truce with Israel until the atrocities against the Al Aqsa Mosque are over.
The Palestinian people will not keep silent if plans to divide the mosque are put into effect, Al Batsh said.
He held Israel responsible for the Palestinian reactions to assaults on the Aqsa Mosque, calling on residents of the West Bank to start a popular uprising against the occupation.
Over the past few days, Israeli forces have attacked Palestinians who barricaded themselves inside the Al Aqsa to prevent Israeli settlers from entering the mosque.
