The International Islamic Relief Organization (IIROSA) in Saudi Arabia, an affiliate of the Muslim World League, issued an urgent plea to world relief agencies to offer aid to Syrian refugees in countries currently hit by snow storms.
IIROSA Secretary General Ehssan Saleh Taieb said refugees in Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey are suffering from harsh weather conditions and are in dire need for emergency relief materials, such medical supplies, winter clothes, drugs and warming.
The refugees include a large number of women, children and elderly people, he said.
