Ismailia Governor Yassin Taher signed on a 60-m long flag during the governorate’s celebrations marking the opening of the new Suez Canal.

Taher signed on the flag at the public library in Ismailia in the presence of different segments of the civil society and youths in preparation for the canal opening on Thursday.

A statue was placed at the governorate’s entrance gates that was designed by artist Tareq el Komy.
